The Club is a private, member-owned, equity residence club with elegant amenities and luxurious three and four bedroom residences and four bedroom penthouses. Amenities at the club include a gracious reception lobby, sumptuous members lounge, private ski locker room with sauna and steam room, fully equipped fitness center, business center, teen room, toddler activity room and heated parking garage. Long-term clothing and sports equipment storage, private concierge and housekeeping services, and private airport and in-town transportation are provided for all members. Additionally, as members of The Chateaux Condominium Association, members of the club may enjoy the adjacent amenities of The Chateaux Deer Valley, a luxury hotel. These include heated swimming pool, outdoor jetted spas, gourmet restaurant, bar, destination spa, ski and mountain bike rentals and assorted boutiques.
As often as they wish, subject to the club's reservation policies. Each ownership can reserve up to 14 days of Planned Winter Vacations and 14 days of Planned Summer Vacations. After all Planned Vacation time is reserved, owners can reserve additional lodging on a “space available” basis. With only six ownerships per residence, there is abundant availability throughout the year and there is no limit to the amount of use by each owner. If some owners use the club less, other owners will be able to use it more.
Title is evidenced by a real estate deed that is recorded and is guaranteed by a title insurance policy. Each owner owns a one-sixth undivided, deeded interest in one of the club's fully furnished residences. Each owner also owns an interest in the club facilities and common areas.
Yes. More than one family or individual may own a single ownership. It will be up to the joint owners to allocate lodging for that ownership in compliance with the reservation policies.
No. Timeshare is typically the ownership of a specific week and lodging is limited to a specific unit. The Residences at the Chateaux owners have access to all residences of their ownership category and all club facilities, with the right of use anytime, subject to reservation policies. Club ownership is similar to membership in a prestigious equity golf country club. There are only six owners per residence, ensuring abundant and flexible use for all owners.
Yes. Private residence clubs currently are operating successfully at the prestigious mountain resorts of Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Steamboat Springs, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley and Lake Tahoe. Residence clubs also have been well received in Manhattan, Napa Valley, Bermuda and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The Chateaux Residence Club: provides more convenience, services and amenities than are provided by an equally luxurious Deer Valley home; provides owners with as much (or more) vacation use as typical Deer Valley homeowners use their vacation homes; matches the cost of owning and maintaining the vacation home with the amount of use; provides the added flexibility of reserving multiple residences at the same time for social gatherings or small corporate meetings; and eliminates the worries and hassles of vacation-home ownership.
Yes. Guests staying in the same residence with an owner are allowed to vacation at the club at no charge. Owners also may invite Unaccompanied Guests to use their confirmed Planned Vacations without a guest fee.
